On first use, remove the wood cap and pull out the small plastic stopper. Dispose of the stopper and replace the wood cap. Briefly turn the bottle upside-down to start the flow of oil. Then hang diffuser by its hemp cord. When the smell weakens, briefly turn the bottle upside-down to re-start the flow of oil.
